Which Trailair Tri-Glide Pin Box to Replace Existing Lippert 1716

Question:

I am looking at replacing our pinbox on our fifth wheel to the Trailair Air Ride. We currently have a LIPP1716 GVRW 15,500. What Trailair would be the direct replacement for this pinbox? I am assuming it is the Trailair # LC158777 Air Ride 5th Wheel King Pin - Lippert 1716 - 21,000 lbs but I want to confirm before making the purchase since the weight capacity is very different.

The Trailair Tri-Glide replacement fifth wheel pin box you mentioned, part # LC158777 is indeed a direct replacement for your existing Lippert 1716 pin box. The Tri-Glide is actually manufactured by Lippert, so you'll have no worries whatsoever about it not being compatible.

Even though the # LC158777 has a higher capacity than needed, it would still work perfectly for you.
