Do Base Plate Kit Installs Ever Deploy Air Bags in Vehicles
Published 07/31/2015 >
Question:
Hi. I recently purchased a blue ox baseplate , bx2632 for my 2014 ford explorer from you and before I get started was concerned about accidentally setting of the airbags or possibly disabling them during installation. Are these true concerns I should have and is there a video instruction you could send me for this baseplate on this vehicle? Thank you

We don't have an install video yet for the # BX2632 that you referenced but I did attach an install link for the base plate kit for you to check out. As long as you follow the instruction you should have not issues with the air bags deploying. We have sold several base plate kits over the years and have yet to hear about any issues with air bags deploying or becoming disabled.
