Question:
How do I let some air out of the trailair and inflate it?

There is a Schrader valve on the Flex Air replacement pin boxes such as # LC328492. To add air you would just use a compressor like you might find at a gas station or auto repair shop.
To take air out all you would have to do is depress the little plunger in the valve to release the air. Some attachments that are used to add air can also be used to release air, kind of like filling up a bike tire as a kid with a hand pump. As soon as you put the hose end on the valve there would be a swish of air until you pull that little lever down.
