How to Lube a Hitch Ball with White Grease Hitch Ball Lube

Question:
Where exactly do you spread the lube for the Hitch? Im new to trailers and didnt know if you just spread it on the ball itself or inside the coupler. Thanks

To apply grease to the top of a hitch ball with the part # 58117 all you would need to do is apply a small amount to the top of the ball. The coupler will then push the grease around and spread it evenly on the ball.
