Question:

I have a couple questions with regards to finding a matching nut and bolt set that will work with Thule Aeroblades. 1 Does T-bolt 853-0782 work with the Aeroblade top groove? 2 If yes, does this T-bolt work with wing knob 753-0776. 3 If no to either of the previous questions, is there a square headed bolt that is at least 2.1 inches in length that works with the aeroblade groove, and has a wing knob associated with it. Thanks for your time.

I tried it to make sure, and the t-bolt # 853-0782 will fit inside the groove on the top of the Thule AeroBlade bars. The knob # 753-0776 will also fit on the bolt. I have attached some pictures of the bolt in the groove with the knob on the bolt for you to see how they fit together. The bolt won't come out of the groove, but it doesn't fit tightly inside the channel.
