How to Fit a Thule Motion XT Cargo Box on a Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform

Question:

How can I fit this on a Rhino Rack Pioneer Platform? The mounting width for the Thule case does not match up evenly to the gaps of the platform. Adding the accessory bar would still mean I need the clamps to line up to the gaps of the platform.

We have what you need here.

The Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box, part # TH629706, does not natively work with the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform, part # RR42113BF. In order to get the box to fit the platform, the Power-Click Clamps need to be removed and replaced with the T-Track Mounting Hardware for Thule Cargo Boxes, part # TH697600.

The T-Track Mounting Hardware will allow you to connect the box using the platform's T-Track (also called a C-Channel).
