Question:
I have this same set up on a trailer that we use for work and I believe the shock that is supposed to dampen the slide action when you stop has went out. Im needing to find this shock. yall show one for the 5000 lbs system with a 2 in ball but I cant find the one for the 6000 lbs with 2 5/16 setup. Could you help me locate this. Thanks

We do have a replacement shock absorber for a Toledo brake actuator.
I recommend part # 1844-2. The measurement center to center of the mounting holes on this shock is 6-1/4 inches when fully closed and 8-1/4 inches when extended. The bolt holes are 7/16 inch diameter. If these mounting dimensions match the shock you have in your coupler, this replacement shock will work well for you.
