Question:

I would like to know if you have a bike rack the would fit my 2006 Volks? It is a new Beetle 2.51 liter,5 cyclinder. It has a spoiler on the back of the trunk. I just need a one bike rack. Im older adult women who is short so I could not lift the bike on the roof. Thanks.

The trunk-mount bike rack I recommend for your 2006 Beetle is the Saris Bones 2 Bike Carrier, part # SA805BL.

This bike rack is designed to work with the spoiler you have on the back of your Beetle. This is a lightweight rack that will hold 1 or 2 bikes and has anti-sway straps to keep the bike stable when in the carrier. I have attached a product review video you can check out.

When carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
