Question:

How is the curt stabilizer strap installed on a hyundai elantra using a Curt hitch and thule t2 platform bike rack. I saw your video for what appeared to be a camera. It is not specific enough for the Elantra. Please advise

The problem that some people run into with the stabilization strap # 18050 is that it isn't really explained where on a vehicle it should go, or on a platform style bike rack.

Basically you will want the connection on the vehicle side to be higher than the connection to the bike rack. On the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH23JV you would likely need to attach the strap to the nearest arm or nearest rail.

On the car there should be a slight gap just behind where the top comes down and where the trunk lid starts. You can use that gap.
