Both the Curt Front Mount Hitch # 31109 and the Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch # 65050 have a 2 x 2 inch hitch receiver, a line pull maximum of 9,000 pounds, a vertical load max of 500 pounds, and a gross trailer weight max of 5,000 pounds.

The Curt front mount hitch's receiver will sit just below the license plate on your vehicle. This hitch will provide an easier installation. I have attached an installation video of this front mount hitch on a 2008 Silerado for you.

The Draw-Tite front mount hitch requires that the license plate holder be removed, and a square cut in the front bumper to allow access to the hitch receiver. The Draw-Tite hitch will give you greater ground clearance. I have attached an installation video of this front mount hitch on a 2007 Silverado for you.

If you will need to relocate your license plate, I recommend the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch License Plate Holder # C31002. This license plate holder will allow you to insert your license plate into your front mount hitch receiver when not towing other items.
