Question:

Recently purchased the new Lexus SUV model NX200t - just a bit smaller than the Lexus RX series. We do not want to install a hitch. What product do you recommend for our two2 hybrid cycles? We want something easy to put in place and remove, well-designed, reliable, yet sturdy enough to transport cycles a few hundred miles without damaging our car or the cycles!

Right now the only solution I can offer you for transporting 2 bike with your 2015 Lexus NX 200t would be a hitch mounted solution since none of our bike racks have any trunk mounted racks confirmed to fit your vehicle.

For a brand new vehicle I would much rather recommend a hitch option since it would not contact any painted surfaces on the vehicle. The Curt hitch part # C13337 has been confirmed to fit your vehicle and would do a great job carrying a bike rack.

The Swagman XTC2, part # S64670 is one of the most popular racks because it's so easy to use, and because the rack has an angled shank that would raise the bike rack up by three inches providing additional ground clearance. Because of that, this is the rack I'd recommend for you. The rack includes an anti-rattle hitch bolt, but a combination anti-rattle hitch lock/cable lock is available separately as part # S64031.
