The Demco base plates # DM9519307 are a fit for a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited/Latitude/Sport including models with adaptive cruise control. The technology package and lane control features should not be a factor and the active braking feature is only something to look at when we cover supplemental braking.

For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Commander, # DM9511012. It is rated for 6,000 pounds and comes with safety cables.

For lighting you can use a simple magnetic kit such as # RM-2120. Or for a more permanent solution you can use diode kit # RM-154.

And finally, most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest systems to set up and use are proportional systems, like the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR. It works with pretty much all braking systems. It will apply the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the RV is braking. This is the easiest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles.
