The Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit, # K71-385-00, that you mentioned is a universal kit which fits a three inch round leaf spring axle.
Judging by the weight of your KZ Sportman travel trailer, there is a good chance that your trailer has a 2-3/8 inch axle and would need part # K71-384-00 instead.
Unfortunately a collective OEM trailer parts catalog does not exist so I do not know the size of axle that is on your trailer.
