Looking at the front hitch for a 2013 tacoma...will this work on the 4x4 tacoma? Curt Front Code 31313

The Curt hitch part # 31313 that you referenced has been confirmed as a fit for your 2013 Toyota Tacoma so it would work well for you.
This hitch will fit all models so it yours being a 4WD model would not matter.
Here are the tech tips for installing this hitch:
Bumper beam end caps must be removed.
Front skid shield will be removed.
No drilling required for installation
