The # TH27000XT-EX TracRac TracONE Ladder Rack you mentioned is a fit for your 2014 Silverado 1500.
The ladder rack fastens to the top of the bed side using clamps, no drilling is required.
If you want to mount a toolbox in the truck bed while using the TracONE, a mount kit # TH41000 is also available.
