Are hard nose and soft nose pols cross compatible? Thanks

Yes, you can use hard and soft nose POL propane cylinder adapters interchangeably unless otherwise specified by the manufacturer of the product you are using it on. The difference is that with a hard nose you would have to use a wrench to tighten it. A soft nose has a handwheel used to tighten and an o-ring to make a seal.
