I have an easy rider Thule three bike truck rack 515-5050. I need six replacement straps. Which straps will work?

I spoke with my contact at Thule and the Easy Rider trunk mounted bike rack was discontinued back in 1995 so the replacement straps are no longer available but I do have a solution. You will just need to update your cradles by using the T3 Cradle Body, # 853-5829, and then use Rubber Strap, # 753-3535. These are sold individually so you would need 6 of each.
A quick tip that we have found to work well when installing new cradles on a bike rack is to grab a can of aerosol hair spray. You'll want to spray the arms of the bike rack which will make it slick allowing you to easily slide the cradles into place. Once it dries it will be tacky which helps to hold the cradle in place.
