Could the Andersen Gooseneck Adapter # AM3100 Be Used On a Flat Bed Truck

I have a 2011 f350 straight chassis and it is 9 foot 3 inch bed I am 39 inchs tall from ground to bed floor. Need to be at 48 1/2 inchs tall max at the top of fifth wheel

It sounds like the bottom of your fifth wheel king pin is 48-1/2 inches to the ground and the top of your flatbed is 39 inches from the ground. This would mean that you would you would need an adapter that can go down to 9-1/2 inches if the ball on your trailer sits on top of the bed.
Typically flat bed trucks use a recessed gooseneck ball that sits below the top of the bed of the truck so you may find that the # AM3100 that you referenced would work just fine for you. You would need to measure how far the ball is recessed and then add that figure to 9-1/2 inches to see if the # AM3100 would fit. This adapter can go down to 11-3/4 inches when fully retracted.
