Availability of 5th Wheel Head Assembly for a Reese 16K Slider

Question:
I have a 16K reese slider with square tube sliders mounted on a reese adaptor for a Ford F-350 puck system. New trailer has 20000 lb gross weight. Can I upgrade this hitch with just a new head section of do I need to purchase the complete hitch that will fit the Ford Reese adaptor.

Yes, you can upgrade your head assembly on your Reese 16K slider hitch. I recommend the Reese replacement double pivot 20K head and head support # 30118 as it will work with your current Reese Kwik-Slide.
Replacing the head will also increase your capacity to 20,000 pounds.
