The Hand Rail part # AHR3 that you referenced includes a mounting bracket that will attach to the trailer and allows a pin to run through the handle to secure it to the bracket.
For more info check out the review video I attached that shows the 4 step version of this handrail and how it attaches to both the RV and steps.
