Question:
Does item #STL37RB come with a license plate bracket, if NOT, what use is the license plate light? Trying to upgrade a Trailmanor 19/26 with modern LED lights, but hard to find tail lights that are 8 1/2 X 4 1/4 X 1 3/4 with a BACKUP LIGHT incorporated into the same housing. Since the original lights are NOT waterproof, and are corroded, it would do NO good to replace the incandescent bulbs with LEDs!

Expert Reply:
Optronics trailer tail light # STL37RB does not include a license plate bracket. This is a left hand side light and not all trailers have the license plate on the left side (though it is most common on the left) so the addition of a bracket would not work for all applications so it isn't included.
Light kit # TLL16RK might work for you. The license plate bracket is included and the lights are submersible.
