Came on a diamond trailer last year, I cranked the jack maybe 12 times. It stopped cranking up or down. I dont think it is broke, just something came loose. took handle odd and pulled out the long bolt with nut on top-my question is. what do I do now?

The nut you are seeing in the inner pipe is not designed to be replaced. It sounds as if your jack was wound past is working limit and either broke or ruined the threads on the lift rod. You will need to replace the jack, if this is the case.
