Question:

In the video, Tow Ready Hitch Mounted Cargo Carrier Review, do you know what hard PVC case is place in the middle of the carrier? Im trying to find a good waterproof case that can store equipment, is lockable, and can be easily tied down to the carrier. Any suggestions?

The waterproof cargo bag I recommend for your cargo carrier is the 20 cubic feet cargo bag # 988501. It will include 6 tie-down straps to secure it to your cargo carrier, but I recommend a lock such as the Master Lock padlock # 141T to lock the cargo bag by the zippers. Simply insert the lock through both holes on the zipper to secure. I went to our warehouse to get the cargo bag and locks to ensure they fit too. See picture I included.

The center underside of the Tow Ready cargo carrier DISCONTINUED 63154 you referenced is part of the steel shank which provides the carrier with a 300 pound weight limit. This carrier will fit 1-1/4 inch hitches.

I recommend getting a trailer hitch receiver lock to secure your cargo carrier to the hitch receiver. The one I would go with is the SilentACT anti-rattle lock # SHP2082.
