Question:
I have a 2015 Subaru Outback and will be purchasing a hitch carrier 63153. The videos all show loads that are only about a foot high. Can I stack a few boxes to make the overall height a few feet high? Not going over the roof line but 3-4 feet. Also I am interested in purchasing a light kit and based on reviews will need a wiring extender. Do you have that? And could you recommend a locking mechanism? Thank you.

You can certainly load the Pro Series # 63153 up a few feet, but as you said, you'll want to stay under the roof line. I'd highly recommend the # 98174LED light kit and the # 9653P 12 inch extension. Keep in mind that the # 63153 is only compatible with 2 inch receivers.
Your cargo can be held in place with a cargo net or tie down straps, depending on what you're carrying. I've linked you to the straps and nets we have available.
A locking hitch pin like part # e98882 would be a great choice to protect your carrier from theft.
