Question:

I want to flat tow a 2015 Kia Soul, manual transmission, behind my gas powered motor home. Please give me your opinion on using the following part #s to do this: RM-520 RM-522114-4 BLU37TR EZT20B If you recommend something in addition to the above or different, please explain why.

Looks to me like you have made some excellent product choices as far as flat towing your 2015 Kia Soul.

The Roadmaster Base Plates # RM-522114-4 which you referenced are a confirmed fit for your 2015 Kia Soul. These are the most popular base plates with our customers.

Similarly the Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar, # RM-520, is a confirmed fit with your Soul. This tow bar is also popular with our customers and has a weight capacity of 6,000 lbs.

The Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, proportional system, which you referenced, is also a good choice and is one of the easiest systems to set up and use.

It looks like you are looking for a lighting solution that does not require tapping into the existing wiring. The only suggestion I have would be to go with a magnetic lighting solution, the Roadmaster # RM-2120, as long as you do not plan to tow very often these would be an easier set up.

You will also need a pair of safety cables. I recommend coiled safety cables like # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables off of the ground.
