What is the diameter of the shaft that the jack handle will attach too? How far down is this shaft from the top of the jack?

I went to our warehouse and measured the Bulldog 2-Speed Planetary Jack # BD183816 to get you the dimensions you need.
The handle shaft has a 1-inch diameter and the center of this shaft is 3-inches down from the jack top plate. These dimensions are shown on the photo I prepared for you.
