2015 Acura MDX Curt Hitch Ground Clearance
Updated 03/24/2015 | Published 03/22/2015 >
Question:
I had been looking specifically at the OEM Trailer hitch from Acura primarily because it appears to be mounted a few inches higher than after market trailer hitches. We had issues with my other trailer hitch on my minivan because if we went from a level surface to a steep driveway common in this area, the hitch would scrape on the ground and make a terrible racket. I was concerned that the Curtis might have the same problem. Can you comment? Thanks in advance!

When we installed the Curt Hitch part # C13146 on a similar 2014 MDX we measured and found that from the top of the hitch opening to the ground it measured 14 inches. From the bottom of the hitch will be most likely around 12 inches.
