Question:

I have a reese trailer brake controller that does not seem to work with my eby trailer with electric hydraulic brakes. Can the reese work with this system? If not what do I need, can you supply, and what is the total cost? Note: the reese does work on a trailer with electric brakes only, also it does seem to get power to the hydraulic brake actuator . Thanks for any help,

Since your trailer is equipped with electric over hydraulic brakes, I recommend going with the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller, # 90195. This brake controller is a customer favorite because it is easy to setup and use and was designed to work with the brakes on your trailer. The Reese Electronic Brake Controller, # 39523, that you currently have is designed for use with electric trailer brakes so it will not work for your trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes.
