I recommend using a combination of non-water-soluble glue and staples to install the CE Smith Deluxe Marine-Grade Carpeting # CE11372. You can use the staples only on the back side of the bunks - where it does NOT touch the boat hull. Glue should be applied on the entire back surface of the carpet and then to hold it in place while the glue sets you can install staples. If you want to skip the glue then this is permissible.
We do not sell glue or staples but your local hardware store will offer a heavy-duty staple gun and staples, or the heavier type that install with a hammer, as well as a suitable adhesive that will not degrade from exposure to water.
