Question:
For a 2015 Acura MDX, will the hitch interfere with the removal of the spare tire. The hitch looks like it would block the lowering of the spare tire. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
The e98840 Class III, part # e98840 would not interfere with installing/removing the temporary spare tire on a 2015 Acura MDX. The available hitches are compatible with the 18 inch full-size spare tire, but not the 19 or 20 inch spare tires.
If you'll be using the hitch for towing, you might also need the following to complete your towing system:
Trailer wiring harness with 4 pole trailer connector, part # 118628
Ball mount, part # D-4
2 inch trailer ball, part # 63845
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
Locking hitch pin, part # e98882
