Question:
Hello, I was wondering where and how the side marker lights get hooked up. My current 6x10 utility trailer does not have them but I see it is included in the kit so if required in New York I will need to install them. Please let me know. Thank you,

Installing the amber, stud mount marker light # MC36AB from the Optronics trailer light kit # TL29BK will be pretty easy. On your 6x10 trailer, you will find the location you want to mount the light and drill a hole followed by another hole a 1/2 inch below the first hole you drill.
Take the wire from the marker light # MC36AB and run it through the lower hole. Run the stud on the light through the second hole on top. Using a lock washer and nut to secure it to the frame.
The wire from the marker light (black) will hook up with the running light wire (brown) on the trailer. Use a butt connector like # DW05714 or # 05731-5 (5 pack) to pair the two together and wrap a little electrical tape to protect it from the elements.
I included a video showing the installation of the marker light for you too.
