After unhitching your gooseneck trailer, steady it with the Ultra-Fab tripod stabilizer. Simply position the tripod beneath your trailer's coupler and release the chain that holds the stabilizer hitch ball in place. The hitch ball will rise into the gooseneck coupler. Reattach the chain by hooking a bottom link around the bracket on the tripod leg. Now use the handle at the base of the hitch ball to fine-tune the height of the stabilizer. Turn counterclockwise until the coupling is complete.

The order was correct but the packaging looked like it was thrown from a 5 story building and it was missing a part. With as beat up as the box was, I’m surprised there were any parts in it at all. Hopefully they’ll make it right.

For the price and simplicity this is a good buy. Since purchasing I replaced my Andersen king pin adapter with a Reese Goosebox. It was fairly simple to adapt this stabilizer to set lower. The Ultra Fab works great.
I chose the product to use with an Andersen Ultimate kingpin adapter and found that the depth of the adapter is slightly more than expected. This causes the stabilizer ball mechanism to rub against the bottom. Despite the mismatch for the desired usage, the stabilizer is well constructed and easy to use. I plant to adapt it to better fit my selected hitch.
I used this on my toy hauler with Anderson hitch. I pinned it in place at the ball and spun the tri-pod until it was close to the ground. Once I got the legs in place I chained it and tightened the handles. It seems to stabilize the trailer better. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it was a little awkward to get the legs and feet in place. Overall I think it was a good value and should last for several years.
Received stand, good shipping time and communication on the shipping , easy to set up ball works good with the Anderson hitch had the wife get into the bedroom and move around reduced the sway in the trailer by 90% before the movement felt like a mild earth quake very happy with the construction of the tripod easy setup and will store easy . Only thing I couldn't figure out is where the lock hooks up on it, the videos online shows how they work on the kingpin version only
The 5th wheel tri pod arived with both ends of the box torn open, to my surprise all the parts were there, miracles to happens. The the tri pod works just fine.

Very noticeable difference in the stability of the 5th wheel
I ordered a stabilizer hitch the package was open on both ends chain was hanging out. I think you could use better packaging. I love the product works great
It works reasonably well. I still get some shake and sway. But the jack has cut it down quite a bit. All in all, worth the purchase price.
John - 10/05/2021I was hesitant to purchase this item for months. Really didn't think that this would make a huge difference. Whenever I saw another fifth wheel that had one I would ask what they thought about it and nearly everyone said that it was well worth it. Now that we have one, we are so impressed with how much this stand has increased the stability and reduced nearly all of our fifth wheel vibrations. We have a washer and dryer in the front of the RV. During the spin cycles the entire RV would shake. Now, with the tripod in place, we couldn't be happier with how little the RV shakes and vibrates, especially when doing laundry, We would highly recommend getting one if you too are tired of your RV vibrating and wanting a more stable and comfortable fifth wheel.
To top it off, it was shipped and received much quicker than expected.

we had a hard time finding a tripod for our converted 5th wheel to a gooseneck because of the height of the tripods. Finally found this one and we love it. We can definitely tell a difference in the stabilization in the front of the camper. thanks etrailer.
So far it’s been great, I’ve only had it a few days but it seems to do the job. We got it for our Andersen hitch, we weren’t sure it would make a difference but I feel it does. It has cut down on sway you can feel. The product it very sturdy and was extremely easy to set up and use. Happy camper ;)
I just received the king pin stabilizer and it is fantastic. It works well with my Anderson ultimate advantage hitch. I would highly recommend everyone with an Anderson hitch to get this product.
Overall very good, easy to assemble & easier to use, thought was a little light in weight, but as far as I have seen, no notable problems & functions perfectly
Well it got here fast. And helped me get done what I needed. I'm totally happy with my purchase.
Tripod is well built and should a good job, just as I expected. etrailer's web site was easy to navigate and shipping was fast and as promised.
My only comment is the manufactures box appeared to be durable, but when it arrived it had a large hole in the bottom, luckily all pieces were still in the box and nothing was damaged.
Awesome stabilizer. I also purchased the leg extensions since I use this on my fifth trailer that has the Andersen Fifth Wheel hitch so it is pretty tall. The leg extensions don't say they are compatible with this specific model, but they work perfectly.
