Im interested in a BandW Patriot 18K slider 5th wheel hitch RVK3270. Is it available? If it is, will it fit in a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 64inch box using the C16427-204 custom mounting kit? Ive also noticed several sites describe the RVK3270 as a 16K hitch. BandW site says its an 18K hitch. Which is correct? Thanks.

The Blue Ox, part # BWRVK3270 Sliding fifth wheel is the hitch you are asking about. They have upgraded from a 16K to an 18K Patriot. For rails I recommend part # BWRVR3202-00.
If you are interested in a sliding fifth wheel that will work with standard above bed rails I recommend the Curt Q16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R16 Slider, part # C16521. This is a dual-jaw 16K slider fifth wheel hitch that will fit industry-standard above bed rails.
The custom installation kit I recommend is the Curt Fifth Wheel Installation Kit, part # C16427-204. No drilling is required and this kit cuts the installation time in half versus the universal bracket systems.
