Question:
Hello, I connected the ctek 7002 with my car battery two days ago. The unit is in Normalmode. It has been staying in the desulphation phase for the whole time i.e. Lamp 1 blinking. The battery is connect to my car in storage. So I believe the battery is dead or close to it. Is there something wrong? or it will eventually start charging? Please advise. Thank you for your help.

If the battery was completely dead to start with (a "bad" battery) then not even a CTEK charger can resurrect it. If the battery was not dead or considered a dead battery then either it really needs that much desulfation or it could be that the ground connection is not good.
This happens with my CTEK charger sometimes if I do not have it grounded to a good, solid bare metal surface. You may need to try taking some sand paper to where you have the charger grounded to get the most suitable ground.
After you have established a suitable ground then you will hook up the charger to the battery as if it was the first time. So in other words you wouldn't leave the charger powered on with the ground removed, clean the ground area and reattach the ground. That has the tendency to confuse the charger and you would just have to start over anyway.
