Overall quality is excellent, but...
So, there's a hole for a hitch ball, and two more as places to attach safety chains...but no way to hook safety chains into them! I had to make my own safety chain loops that bolted into the holes. Seems like an intentional oversight (cheaper, but poor usefulness). Maybe they should have been included in the $[XX] mounting kit, which is a terrible price for a few bolts and 2 short pieces of steel.
Exactly as advertised fit perfectly on my 85 ranger and looks great.
Bumper is nice but came bent on upper lip but was able to straighten it with the help of my son. Says it fits a 78 Ford F350 but the brackets need to be modified extensively which I did to make it fit. Had to cut the bracket in the front and rear to make it shorter to bring bumper closer to the truck because the gap was over 5” long. Then had to drill 6 additional holes on brackets. I got the bumper to fit very nicely. They should make brackets that fit the actual application it says it will. If you are not willing to put the effort don’t buy this particular brackets.

Bumper came as expected, good quality. The install kit worked, however the instructions are not correct for how to mount to the truck. Simple fix, just backwards and turned around from what the instructions say to do. All the holes lined up once you do that! Shiniest part of this truck now lol!

Using silicone on the seams is a cheap trick to make it look better. Paint color is ugly. Have to have it repowder coated
It seams to be sturdy
If you are going to use existing hardware you will have to drill 6 holes up to 1/2”
Was this supposed to come with hardware to mount it, cause I didn’t get any

Product as described .received in good condition.
Bumper standard duty quality, not heavy duty utility as it appears. It is a primer gray finish, not silver. Fit to truck almost nonexistent. Also nowhere to bolt bumper horns. Would not recommend this product.

Westin labels this product as silver but I also see it as a gray finish. This bumper also needs the bracket kit that fits your 1979 Ford: Item # 92230.

The bumper did not fit my van. I then ordered an adapter kit from you so it could supposedly be attached. This would not allow the bumper to be attached to the van. I was very busy then so I got a bumper from a junk yard, had it sand blasted, painted and installed on my van. I waited too long to try to return the one I purchased from you, to you my fault so the new bumper I purchased from you is sitting on my porch. I have been unable to find anyone who wants it so I will eventually scrap it when I get the time. The bumper I got from you is identical to my original on the outside but has a completely different bracket arrangement on the inside. I took it to an auto repair shop. They suggested I get a junk yard bumper because it would be cheaper than the welding and millwrighting they would have to do to get yours to fit.
WE ARE MOUNTING IT NOW AND IT LOOKS GOOD. IT DID ARRIVE WITH MINOR DAMAGE. THE TOP DIAMOND PLATE WAS LIFTING OFF THE CENTER OF THE BUMPER.WE WERE ABLE TO REPAIR IT.
