What is the thread classification, I need to know the outside diameter of the threaded portion of the cap and the pitch of thread. please let me know

I went out to the warehouse and pulled Bearing Buddies # BB2441T-SS. The outer diameter of the threaded portion is 2.34 inches using digital calipers to measure. The thread pitch is harder to determine. There are approximately 9 threads per inch (only three threads on the actual product) and it is coarse threaded as opposed to fine threaded.

These Bearing Buddies are designed to replace Tie Down Turbo Lube oil baths.

Will the Bearing Buddy 2441T-SS fit my Vortex hub that uses a threaded 48355 dust cap?

Based on my research the 48355 dust cap is just a tad smaller than the Bearing Buddy # BB2441T-SS, so I don't think this will be a good fit. Are you able to measure the diameter of your hub bore?
