Question:
Will the Curt C31014 hitch fit the front of my 2002 ford excursion diesel? My excursion has the blocker beam.

Expert Reply:
The front hitch designed for your 2002 Ford Excursion is the Curt Hitch, part # 31114. This is a custom fit hitch and has a 2 inch receiver opening.
I called my contact at Curt and they told me they were not aware of a blocker beam being installed on an Excursion. They did tell me that the front mount hitch # 31114 would bolt to the brackets for the springs and the blocker beam would attach to the underside of the front mount hitch. They told me it would bolt into place like the 31014 instructions show in its attached instructions.
