This lens is meant to be used as a replacement to the Optronics tail light, part # ST90RB. It does not have a clear portion for a license plate light. You are looking for a light like Optronics part # ST9RB or part # STL9RB. You could also use Optronics part # ST17RB. I have linked to these parts below.
