I recommend the Roadmaster Hitch Mounted Spare Tire Carrier, part # RM-195225. This carrier mounts in a 2 inch receiver opening. It also has a pivoting feature that will allow you to pivot the spare tire out of the way to gain access to the doors of an RV or motorhome.

This spare tire carrier also has an additional 2 inch receiver that can be used for hitch-mounted accessories like a like rack or a tow bar. The spare tire carrier can be used with 16,16-1/2, 19-1/2, 22-1/2, and 24 inch wheels.
