Recommended Tires for a 13 Inch Size 175/80R13

Published 01/15/2015

Question:

Dear Mr. or Ms., I have an older steel wheel that measures 13inch x 4. Will any of your 175/80 - 13 tires fit on these wheels? The hole pattern is 4 on 4.5 inch and I cannot find any new trailer wheels with that pattern theyre all 4 on 4inch or 5 on 4.5. So I would have to change my hubs and spindles in order to run newer wheels and I do not want to do that. Ive put a considerable amount of time and money into these hubs bearing/seals/caps/etc. and wheels blasted and powder coated already. If the above tire size does not fit, are you able to locate other tires that would? What size tires would fit on this wheel? Thank you for your help.

Since you have an even number of lugs, double-check your measurement of center to center directly across from one another.

I am thinking your 175/80-13 tire size will actually be a 4-1/2 width rim. If indeed your measurement is 4 inches as you stated, we currently wouldn't have an option.

However, we currently offer several 13 inch tires. The most popular one is the Karrier radial trailer tire # AM10210. It fit's 13 inches wheels and has a maximum load capacity of 1,610 pounds at 65 psi. I did include a link that will show you all the 13 inch tires we currently carry.

I added a couple FAQ's and a video review for you too.
