Question:

I have a 2002 enclosed snowmobile trailer with a built in wiring system that leads to a 7 way flat blade plug. Now I just got a 2014 ram 2500 with the built in 7 way female end into the bumper to the right of the license plate. My problem is the trailer plug is too short to reach the truck now. Will this adapter work as basically an extension to allow me to get everything plugged in together? Or another product that would work? Truck end is 7 way blade and trailer male end is 7 way blade as well..

What I recommend is the Curt universal extension # C56080. It will plug directly into your existing 7-way connector and provide you a length of 7 feet.

If you only need a few more inches of play, the adapter # C57003 you referenced will work fine.
