Compatibility of Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier with Yakima Round Bars

The Thule universal mounting kit # 7533998 design accommodates most removable and factory rack crossbars. You must have load bars that run from side to side (driver to passenger). This kit will not attach to factory racks where the bars only run front to back.

The carrier you referenced 8532805 doesn't come up in our system - I searched for close matches but didn't find anything close. I called our representative at Thule and the part 8532805 you referenced isn't made anymore and there isn't mounting hardware available.

Based on your picture and your ski/snowboard carrier having square clamp attachments, I don't think they would work with Yakima round bars like # Y00410.

Now might be the best time to obtain a new ski/snowboard carrier. I recommend the Thule SnowPack Ski and Snowboard Carrier # TH7324. It comes with the One-Key System locks to secure cargo to carrier. This carrier also comes with universal mounting hardware.

I always recommend checking your owners manual to find out the maximum roof weight capacity.
