Today we're going to take a look at the replacement drive head rear cover for Solera Awnings. Now this part will replace the black Regal style back cover for your Solera Awning drive head. The cover protects the drive head on the awnings from the weather. It is made of a black ABS plastic construction and it does install using your existing hardware that you have on there now, but that should do it for the review on the replacement drive head rear cover for Solera Awnings.
Got the front and back covers. With my set up. It was best to replace both covers. Yes, there are two screws. That come from the back cover. Into the front cover. In my application. That looks to be the correct way. That way you will have a positive connection for the front cover

Perfect fit and shopping with etrailer is awesome
Installation was super easy. Extend the awning a couple feet to access the back of the awning head. All screws are accessible from the back of the head. Two #2 Phillips screws hold the front to the back and 2 or 3 screws hold the back to the awning arm. No need to remove the drive head or awning roll. Perfect fit and secure.

Product was EXACTLY what was needed BUT the price for the single moulding piece of plastic was way over the top.
Parts fit just as needed. Wasn't sure i needed both front and rear but turned out I did. Hit a tree limb sticking that should have been cut back and knocked the front cover off and damaged the rear slightly. Screws were still there so not a problem to attach new pieces.
Austin was very helpful in finding the correct front cover for our awning. Fast processing and shipping.

The new awning is awesome and it works perfectly also added a extended shade to make it even better
I ordered Friday and it was delivered on Saturday… very surprised. I went to several RV stores and they do not stock, and they do mark up prices significantly. Etrailer has better prices!
Outside of casing will not snap into the back cover !
Correct product but pricey
The parts were exactly what I needed to fix my 2021 Flagstaff RV. Would have given a 5 if you sold the screws that holds the unit together. Bought them at a local hardware store they are a number 6 self tapping 1 1/2 screw.
The part fit perfectly. No issues. I had the two #6 x "1/2 sheet metal screws already.
The back cover fit right together with the front just like it should. The only thing that would have been better would be to include the two screws that hold the two pieces together.
Fit well. If a plug is required, they are sold separately. Missed that when ordering
I had been searching for the exact replacement for our broken cover. This one fit perfectly. Ordering was easy and shipping was fast. From now on I will start my search with E.Trailer.
