Go Tankless or Go Home

Say goodbye to quick, military-style showers, refilling your tank, and waiting for the hot water to recover. This revolutionary design replaces your outdated tank heater and gives you the luxury of taking back-to-back showers, washing dishes, and running a load of laundry all at once. Unlike traditional tank heaters that require constant energy to keep your water hot, this tankless, propane-fueled water heater only uses energy when you turn on your faucet or shower, providing the ultimate efficiency at a campground or off-the-grid. The endless, on-demand hot water has no recovery time and is perfect if you're on the road full-time or traveling with a large group.

Relaxing Showers without Scalding or Freezing

Has your warm and relaxing shower ever been interrupted by a cruel burst of ice-cold water? Perhaps you've been the victim of a scorching surge of hot water that scalds you and sends you dancing out of harm's way. Either way, it's the worst, but those days are over. Furrion's vortex technology is designed to eliminate those dreaded hot and cold water fluctuations by consistently mixing hot and cold water together to reach your desired temperature, ensuring those warm, comfortable showers.

Safety First

This state-of-the-art technology is equipped with built-in safety measures to ensure you, your family, and your RV stay out of harm's way.

Its dual temperature sensors automatically shut off power if the water temperature exceeds 149 F, preventing the unit from overheating while also reducing the risk of hot water scalding. The unit also has a flame monitoring feature that cuts off the gas supply if the flame goes out to prevent gas from leaking inside your RV and a built-in safety valve that allows pressure to vent at 87 psi to prevent excess pressure and heat build-up.

Anti-Freeze Control Board

This tankless water heater features a control board to keep itself warm when temperatures drop. Freezing water can damage the unit, so an internal thermostat monitors water temperature and will turn the heat on automatically when it gets too cold. This feature will only work if the water heater is receiving power and gas. You will need to remember to winterize the water heater before storage over the winter.

  • Replacement Water Heater for Atwood GC10A-4E
Hey Dave! Sorry to hear you're having trouble with your old Atwood GC10A-4E. You don't see any Atwood heaters because they went out of business quite a while ago. If you can sort out the leak the Camco Water Heater Element # CAM02143 can replace your element and keep it going. I would say at 18 years it has definitely lived a good life so replacing it wouldn't hurt before you have other parts fail you can't repair/replace. Water heaters have largely moved away from the tanks and gone to...

  • Best Replacement Water Heater for a Atwood GC6AA-10E
Hey Gary. Atwood was bought out around 10 years ago by Dometic and then discontinued. While there's not an identical replacement for your Atwood GC6AA-10E water heater we do have a comparable option size wise. It is the Dometic RV Water Heater item # DMC74FR. The Dometic item # DMC74FR has a 6 gallon tank, produces up to 12 gallons per hour, and fits cutouts measuring 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep. The 15" x 15". This has a 6 gallon tank, produces up to 12 gallons per hour, and fits cutouts measuring 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep. • Tankless Water Heater For Replacing Atwood/Dometic GC10A-4E
Hello Jairo, thanks for reaching out. We do have tankless water heaters that can replace that Dometic GC10A-4E, but there is nothing that will be an exact fit for the opening. For example, what I recommend is the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR68SR. The unit itself is 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep. So you would have to build out the inside of the cutout to properly house the unit. Tankless units are often smaller than the tanked units so modifying the cutout is a pretty...

  • Can Tankless Water Heater Replace Water Heater With Tank
Hey Brian! You can definitely replace your existing water heater with a tankless water heater. I recommend the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater as a replacement. This will use your existing gas and plumbing lines so the only thing you need to do is measure your cutout. The Furrion requires a 12-3/4" to 12-13/16" wide x 12-5/8" to 12-3/4" high x 23-1/2" deep cutout for installation. You can choose from the following based on door color/size: -Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Auto...

  • Replacement Tankless Water Heater for Atwood GC6AA10E
Hey Richard! With the wiring concern you have I would steer clear of the Fogatti. From my experience their support is virtually non-existent so there isn't much in the way of help, especially if you're wanting to install it yourself. Instead, I would get the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater. These are reliable with great support and something we have installed on a lot of different trailers. You can follow along with Kevin who recently installed one in the video attached below. There...

  • Replacement Tankless Water Heater for Atwood G10-3E
Hey Jim! For a tankless replacement I recommend the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR42TD. This requires a 12-3/4" to 12-13/16" wide x 12-5/8" to 12-3/4" tall x 23-1/2" deep cutout. The height and width will definitely fit but I recommend checking the available depth to be sure. This comes with an 18-1/8" tall x 18-1/8" wide access door which lines up with your current door to keep everything covered. If you would rather have a white door the # FR68SR is also available. Feel free to...

  • Looking For Tankless Water Heater For 2014 Crossroads Travel Trailer
Hello Randy, thanks for reaching out. Our best option for that is the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR42TD. This fits a minimum 12-5/8" wide x 12-5/8" tall x 19-1/4" deep cutout. It comes with a door that is 18" x 18" overall so it will fully cover your cutout. You may need to modify your cutout slightly to house the unit, but that is pretty typical when going from a tanked unit to tankless. The tankless are almost always smaller.
