Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this galvanized metal, reflective, slow-moving vehicle sign. This is your slow-moving vehicle emblem that will allow your fellow motorists to know that you are gonna be driving slowly. So this is gonna be great on the back of your farm equipment, your UTVs and ATVs, and that sort of thing. Anything that you're gonna be driving slowly, this is gonna be a great indicator for them and to know that that's the case. So you can see they do include a couple of bolts and nuts here to get this mounted.
There's some holes drilled into the back of this galvanized metal. So pretty simple to get this installed. If that's not gonna work for you because of the flat surface, we do also have a mounting kit available. It's sold in two parts, and so those two individual components are sold separately but they work together to make it very easy for you to get this installed. Otherwise, if you don't want the galvanized option, we do also have the adhesive sticker that's going to be basically the exact same thing but it's got an adhesive back on it, so you can put it where you need it.
So that's available as well. But this version is going to have that galvanized metal backing that's gonna resist rust and corrosion and give you kind of a firm stance there. I do wanna give you a few measurements to show you how big this actually is gonna be. So you can see our height, we're looking at right about 14 inches. And then our overall width, at our widest point here, is gonna be about 16 inches.
And that's the same for the galvanized version and for that adhesive version. Both of those are going to conform to the ASAE S276.5 standards. So they are gonna be street legal and that sort of thing. So it is gonna be exactly what you need if you're wanting to mount that slow-moving vehicle emblem on your vehicle. I adhered this triangle to magnetic sheeting, trimmed the sheeting to size. It works great as a magnetic (removable) slow moving vehicle triangle. The red edges are highly reflective--which is great. The corners of the triangle were not perfect, but I straightened them up in the trimming.
What a terrific company to work with. We ordered some parts on-line and about a half hour after placing the order we received a personal phone call saying that one of the items was back ordered. A personal call - from a real person, and after normal business hours too. Not a robo-call or an email or some form letter, but a call from someone who actually cared enough to let us know the item we needed was out of stock and who worked with us, offered alternative suggestions and made sure it was delivered as soon as possible - and it arrived a few days later anyway.
