On opening the box it didn't look right. Called got a live person. He explained it didn't have the flanges installed. I didn't see the box of hardware hidden under the well packaged hitch. We confirmed numbers and I gor started. I took my time watching the install videos going step by step. Took me about 4 hours. Plenty of leftover hardware for the many possible applications. Fit and finish AAA+++ will use for winch. Bike or luggage camping rack. Possibilities are endless. Another great purchase from ETRAILER.COM!
The hitch is a very nice hitch and I’m happy with it now that it is installed. However, on my 2024 ram 2500 diesel it required two side plate spacers on the driver side for the side plate to mount flush. The hitch only comes with two side plate spacers and a side plate. Spacer is needed for the passenger side. A total of three side plate spacers were needed to complete the install. I called E trailer, explained the issue and they said they would send me another spacer. The spacer never arrived. I called EcoHitch to get a spacer, the spacer never arrived. I resorted to fabricate my own spacer out of some aluminum plate I had laying around the shop. While I am happy with the hitch, it is disappointing that both Etrailer and Ecohitch have customer no service.
Well built heavy duty Hitch. Easy to install. Just watch the video. I did not remove the transmission cooler shroud and was able to easily trim it to fit.

No issues or complaints with the hitch. Very durable and solid carrying our bikes.
Excellent produce, installation instructions were easy to follow. I needed the receiver to mount my spare tire rack.
It’s been carrying my wife and my bicycles on the front of my Ram 3500 Laramie on a trip to the National parks the trip will exceed 14000 miles without any issues. Love my hitch!!

Ordered so I could stop putting my ladder inside my RV when towing to work areas. Install was simple. Slight hiccup with the first unit shipped but customer service fixed the issue fairly quickly.

Exactly what I needed took me about 45 mins to put on by myself. Only thing I haven my done is put the air dam back on it didn’t come with the template so got to figure the cut out but other than that it’s awesome. I love it because I can use my winch on the front or back now and I don’t have to keep my winch on the truck I can store it in my tool box out of sight

This hitch has been fantastic! It was worth every penny. The hitch is subtle so its not an eyesore on the front of the truck. Install was reasonably easy and it carried our electric mountain bikes through Death Valley with ease.
We moved our bike rack to the front of our truck to take the weight off the rear of our fifth wheel. Works great!
The hitch arrived in great condition. Instructions were very detailed and well written. The hitch install took awhile to complete but all is great now. Great quality hitch!
Delivery was prompt. Actually before original delivery date. The hitch fit our 2024 Ram 3500 diesel just as it was made to. Easy enough to install. Installed it on the ground, with some wooden blocks under the front tires, in a campground. With a little help from my wife we were able to get the cross member slipped into the end plates and a couple of bolts in place. Took longer to figure out which bolts go where than to install the second end plate.
Quality hitch! Heavy duty! Impressive (email) shipping update communications from etrailer reps. Good install instructions and install video. Took me several hours and a few bumps on the noggin to install:) Removing bolts on the truck proved to be quite the task. It required a breaker bar and pipe slid over it. In the end I prevailed and I am very happy with the hitch.
No fine thread nuts supplied for side plate to chassis bolting (had to use RAM factor supplied hardware) Total of 10 nuts short
2 lock and 2 flats should for side plate to cross beam

Fit well and I've used it several times, it is holding up real good and I can load my motorcycle on the front of the truck when I'm traveling which I done several times.
Also does great if you want to hook up and move trailer and you don't want to use the back hitch.
I took a quick look under it and it's still solid with not even any spot rust, I think the value of this is far worth it!

Still working like it should! Although I use it about once or twice a month to carry my motorcycle, front carry it shows signs of wear and tear or rust!
Easy installation with parts that fit perfectly. A very good product. I lost instructions and cut patterns and did whole install with etrailer video.
Overall fitment and function is 5/5, no complaint there. It's a solid unit and fit like a glove. My lack of 5 star review is due to the customer experience (no fault of etrailer). Box was broken, so parts were flying everywhere. It's one giant bag of hardware, nothing is labeled. After going through it all, one part was missing, but wasn't needed for my install. The instructions I got were for a different vehicle altogether. etrailer customer service was great to confirm I had the right shipment, and got me the proper instructions. The instructions contained multiple typos on the hardware, referencing a 200mm bolt that didn't exist, etc. Doing it in my driveway as an amateur, without a lift, and just hand tools, it probably took about 8-10 hrs beginning to end. Recommend setting aside a weekend to do it. Torklift video on YouTube is worth a watch also. It Torklift improved packaging/instructions, it's easily 5 out of 5 stars. Torklift can't be beat for quality.
Solid hitch receiver! Took me roughly 1.5 - 2hrs to install by myself, and that's with running back and forth trying to find the right tools. Definitely recommend. Installed on 2024 RAM 3500 Dually

Received this last week, me and a friend installed with just normal ratchets and wrenches on jack stands. It took many more hours than the videos suggested for us (7hrs). BUT it fits well in my '24 Ram 2500. We used it yesterday for a bike rack that requires a 2" receiver, my truck came with a bigger one, and doesn't work with an adapter. It worked just fine, just what I was after and come our vacations with the 5th wheel - the bikes will fit fine up front.
Nice front hitch assembly. Bolted into my 2024 diesel 3500 RAM fairly straightforward. Do watch the installation videos they help clarify the written instructions. I use the front hitch primarily for a step to be able to see/service the engine area. The new trucks are too tall to see or reach anything in the engine compartment. Climbing on the bumper is too dangerous especially with snow/wet shoes. Not a pleasant experience slipping and falling on a hot engine. Having a 2” receiver up front does allow for use of a portable winch, bike rack, or slide in deck for additional hauling space. East coasters often put a deck up front for an icebox and surf poles. I’m very pleased with the hitch.
Heavy duty, solid. Love the tucked in. Two person install needed is a must. Watch their video for tips and suggestions.

This is my third hitch from e trailer. 20,000 super hitch on my 3/4 ton and 30,000 on the one ton. Just finished installing the front receiver hitch on the one ton all of them fit perfectly. The instructions are simple and easy to follow.
I have also order two sets of camper tie downs for these trucks
That installed flawlessly
