Installation
This custom-fit T-connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side tail light. You will have to remove the tail light assembly to access this harness.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.

So easy to install. I found the video on YouTube and it was just as easy as they showed in the video. No cutting and splicing wires. Just unscrew the tail light, plug it in, put the light back, and then zip tie the loose wires. Easy Peasy. I watched another video from Uhaul and it was way more complicated.
Best kit simple installation and reliable. Beats the old cut, wire, and tape method by a long shot. This is the only hitch wiring kit I’ll ever use from this one on.
I installed the Curt T-connector wiring harness w/4-pole flat connector with the no-drill bracket, along with a Curt trailer hitch receiver and the max-tow adjustable ball mount that I purchased through eTrailor and everything worked out perfectly. The installation of everything completed in about 1.5 hours and I was able to tow my HD motorcycle to the 2014 West Virginia Mountainfest on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. Wiring kit worked great. I used it to hook up lights on a trailer tongue mounted motorcycle carrier (the kind with no wheels). Unfortunately the lights got damaged pretty badly from an offroad trip in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but the wiring kit is still attached and working fine.
This would be 5 stars for quality of product, ease of install and fitment. I gave it 4 stars because there's no protection for the wires and it runs close to the exhaust system. The harness is extremely easy to install. The connections plug directly into the existing harness. Drop them through the wheel well and use some zip tie anchors to secure it to the body. I used windex to ensure a grease free surface. Created a secondary loop to store when not in use.
All in all a good quality product that's easy to install and works as expected.

My hitch for the Jeep came in 3 days, and both the hitch and the wiring kit installed in under an hour. Very easy, and a perfect fit. Will be using for a bike rack, and a utility trailer.

This is a very nice harness. It took about 5 minutes to install. The plastic connector clips fit perfectly, just like the factory harness clips. I wish there was a mount for the trailer connector though. Then it would be AMAZING. I ended up just bundling the extra wire under my new Curt hitch.
Everything went together perfectly. Unlike most things you order, this kit needed nothing else. All wire connectors and bolts were included. Very nice kit.

Simple to install. Only snag I ran into was that two of the pre-cut holes in the frame were too small for the bolts, so I had to use a drill bit to slightly widen them. Otherwise, very simple.

Wiring T-Connector arrived 1 day earlier than expected with the trailer hitch. It was very easy to install with the simple instructions. Well made product and looked just like the factory wiring and connectors. I didn't noticed on the website a bracket to order but I had a Z type piece of metal that I was able to make bracket out of and mount to the frame of the vehicle.

the wiring harness fit perfectly and I installed in just a couple of hours front to back and ready to pull the jeep behind the motorhome. the kit came with all parts necessary to install complete without going to find wire ties, splice kits, trailer ends, etc, were all there. good job and will use them again in future needs.

This hitch looks like a factory installed hitch. Very nice finish and easy installation. Also ordered the wiring harness. It was the easiest installation of a wiring harness I have ever encountered. Awesome experience with etrailer. Will definitely use again and recommend them to all my friends.
