Match airflow and depth to your setup—plan for shroud thickness and pulley clearance, and target about 2,200-3,000 CFM for a 5.7 L V8.
Most 17 inch electric radiator fans in this size are 12V only. Check the voltage on the product label before wiring. If your system is 24V, look for a dedicated 24V fan instead of trying to run a 12V unit. Mismatched voltage can lead to poor performance or damage.
That depends on your layout and the fan's design. Some 17 inch assemblies are puller-only, so confirm orientation in the instructions. Reversible single-fan options can run as pusher or puller if space in front or behind the radiator dictates it. If cooling isn't as expected, adding a shroud or improving airflow can help.
