K-Source Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Convex Mirror - Qty 1
After years of replacing mirrors from other sources I purchased a pair of these. There fantastic, plenty of adjustments. Got covid on vacation, really sick and did not properly install mirror. Not broken but scratched badly from asphalt at 55 mph. Purchased a replacement, scratched one is my spare.
These mirrors are good, but not great. I bought these because nothing else fits my 2004 Ford Expedition. They allow me to see around my trailer much better than the factory mirrors, but the have a slight vibration driving down the road. They also make a very noticeable noise from the wind going between the factory mirror and this product. Finally, one of the straps came off when I tightened it a bit too much, but didn't break. The picture below was done in humor (I took my trailer through a drive through, thought it was really funny, and had to take a picture. The picture is a good shot of the mirrors.)

CIPA Universal Fit Towing Mirror - Clamp On - Adjustable Length - Steel
Mirrors work exactly as intended, greatly improving rear vision when towing our pontoon behind our 2014 Tacoma. Store nicely in the compartment under the rear seat.
Excellent product. Easy to put on. Took them off, put them in my camper storage. Next trip out, when I put them on, I did not even need to adjust them! The mirrors are slight contour and slight magnification, which makes them easy to see. There is virtually NO vibration during travel. (I have had others that shimmied so bad you could not see a thing.) I flip my driver side mirror in frequently to check my mail box, so it is not very stiff. So I ran a small bungee from the clamp to the grill under my hood. Did this for both sides. My driver side flipped in when traveling at interstate speeds, so I put a second bungee on it. Fixed the problem. Allen bolts at top of clamp are rusting after 2nd use. All in all though, I am very pleased with this product and it is well worth the money spent. It is the only product I could find to properly fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma, because it clamps on the mirror frame and does not rest on my truck mirrors. Great Product!

After reading lots of reviews on several mirrors, I decided to buy the K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors. Oh how I wish my truck could use the ones that slip over the existing mirrors! I was prepared for a fight, based on reviews, and boy did I get one! I truly needed a third hand when figuring out how to attach these. I was bound and determined that I could do this on my own. No mirrors were going to defeat me! I did ask my husband to come look at them. He started to help but I shewed him away. After a lot of words that don’t normally come out of my mouth and a few tears, the first one was on! Then I had to go do it again in the other side! I’m pretty sure the neighbors heard me yelling. But I persisted! Lo and behold, this 67 year old Grammy did it! It was clear they would not stay on by themselves, so I grabbed a couple of bungee cords and wrapped them around the housing and they aren’t going anywhere. I have left them on my truck. No way I’m going thru that every time we return from camping. I will take them off at the end of camping season. Delivery was really fast. I was disappointed that one box was brand new and the other was smashed and taped, an obvious return. I would have been very unhappy if there was a piece missing or if something was wrong since this was my first purchase with etrailer. Overall, the mirrors work, they do not shake and I find I don’t use the truck mirrors now. Very happy with my purchase.
Fitted on 2024 Toyota Tundra SR5 CrewMax Cab w/ Stock Mirrors No vibration issues with either mirror. Turned left and right side clip on mirrors vertical so the did not overlap truck mirrors. Right side no problem with attachment and was able to adjust truck mirror. Could also see father back along right side of a 24’ travel trailer than just looking in truck mirror. Don’t expect to see behind on right side any vehicles tucked up close. Left side mirror attachment had to be modified so I could adjust truck mirror without interfering with clip on mirror lower L “hooks”. I put a rubber blocks under the lower L hooks so they were low enough to get under truck mirror glass yet still clamp to truck mirror housing. A picture tells the story. 7,000 km/4,200 miles later and neither mirror has loosened or moved. No vibration or distortion. Yes, I ran 2 zip ties as safety “chains” from the back straps to truck mirror arm just in case, they’re barely snug. I recommend these.

So far, so good. I received the CIPA mirrors today and immediately installed them. Installation instructions are straight forward. I took a test drive of about 15 miles; there was no noticeable shake or rattle and the mounts did not loosen. As with factory curbside mirrors, objects are closer than they appear with the CIPA mirrors, too. Our first trip towing is a couple weeks from now. I will update my review after the trip.
The view is excellent. The mirrors do not vibrate. In speeds over 50mph, the tube would turn inside the clamps and the mirrors would turn upward, making them useless. Solution: I cut off a finger from a nitrile rubber glove and pushed it over the tube. Now the mirrors stay put.

CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror - Clip-On
Pros: Very easy to install. Will fit on almost anything. Cons: Bit of a challenge to adjust the in/out tilt on fixed mirror housings. Would like a little more height, but it's OK. This is a good solution for the casual user like me. Installation is painless. If you need more control over height or tilt, this is not for you.
I bought the trailer mirrors for my Jeep Grand Cherokee to pull my pull behind trailer. See pictures. The mirrors attach easily and securely and shake very little when driving. I need them mostly when backing up and I can see where the trailer tires are going. The mirrors do not adjust easily but when you do they stay in place. What I especially like is the size of the mirrors and having two independent mirrors.

Unable to tighten mirror clamps enough to eliminate mirror from shaking, preventing clear image while driving.
The mirrors were just what I needed and work well on my Toyota highlander.

CIPA Universal Towing Mirror - Clip On - Qty 1
The good: inexpensive; decent quality materials The bad: doesn't hold it position very well during extensive or high speed travel - you have to readjust at nearly every stop for gas on a trip. Conclusion: It is worth the money due to its fair price.
Purchased a pair for our 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee towing a nuCamp 400 from FL to AK and back. Three months and around 16k miles. Pros - other than an adjustment the second day, I never had to adjust the tension straps again. They were easy to mount and did not interfere with our mirrors folding inward. They weathered three months on the road without issue though I was beginning to worry about the straps becoming brittle. I noticed this once I removed them. Had I kept them, I would have used some silicon to rejuvenate the rubber. Cons - the only con is they shake. They shake to the point that sometimes I couldn't distinguish what exactly was behind me. I knew there was a vehicle, but the distortion from the vibration prohibited me from getting a clear view of exactly what was behind us. Impressions - they worked for our trip but I knew I would want something else for our next long trip, so we invested in a Furrion Reviewing Camera.

The company was fast and gave lots of updates for shipping. Once i received product my concerns were met. The straps are BARELY long enough to connect around my mirror. Once it is straped properly the tension on straps pulls them right out of the retaining clip. I ordered these because i have a 11 silverado just like what was in the product pictures. Save your money and get something else because theres no way these will make it down the highway they will barely stay on just sitting here. Kinda disappointed because i bout these for our first camping trip this weekend but these will not work. Seems like a good company just crappy product.
So-so construction and design. With one modification they're more than acceptable. The arms and straps will slip and loosen if installed on triangular or tapered housings. Mirrors that have backs nearly parallel to the mirror face, and have upper and lower mirror edges that are nearly parallel are not affected. Adding a peel and stick plastic wall hanger to a tapered housing will stop the strap from slipping and loosening. The ball and socket mount is good and tight, but the stud on the ball is loose in the arm. I think most of the jitter and vibration others report is from this sloppy clearance that the stud screw can't tighten enough. I'll be addressing that as well. A nice option for those of us that a) don't tow a majority of the time and don't want full time extended mirrors, and/or b) tow with multiple vehicles and prefer to have adjustability to fit our 'fleet'.

K-Source Universal Dual Lens Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Pair
These worked great on my wife's Yukon. Installation instructions were clear and direct. They held up very well traveling 75 mph down the interstate; No jostling around or coming loose. I loved the additional two mirrors. Having the three total different angles while pulling a trailer was extremely helpful. Would highly recommend this setup.
ordering was easy. the product was delivered quickly and without damage. I have a 2023 Colorado Z71 and was concerned about how the towing mirrors were going to attach to the tapered factory mirrors. the fit is superb. no movement during use so far.. I would recommend these to a friend.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
this is the second set I have purchased this summer (traded trucks). mirrors do a great job of improving the rear vision of trailer. Gets out and beyond the camper. Both sets function great the second pair the finish had some minor inperfections but they are after all temporary mirrors. I would buy rhem again. Great price for great reults. I also parked truck in the hot sun and put a cord around mirrors just to form it tighter to my mirrors on second set not needed, just me
These mirrors look like they will probably work for towing my trailer. They vibrate pretty bad, and the mirror is not convex at all, so you don't see much, especially when it is vibrating. If you get a 4x5.5 blind spot mirror, it helps alot, and you don't notice the vibrating. Then you take a heat gun, and heat up the inner top corner of the housing, and reshape it so it fits tighter, it makes it better. The mirrors are pretty ugly too, I'm glad they go on and off easy.

K-Source Universal Towing Mirrors - Clip On - Flat Mirror - Qty 2
I went right away to try them on my truck. I have a 24 Denali ultimate 1500 Denali and I have a couple of cameras on my side mirrors. The straps are easy to maneuver around the cameras to avoid issues there. Good snug fit I have not taken it out yet to test these in real road conditions but so far so good.
Worked well and as expected. Still can't see as far behind the camper as I would like on the passenger side. Strap them on tight. They shook very litte but some, not enough to be bothersome. Later,I did find them less expensive elsewhere, oh well. Straping them on is tricky to not cover the cameras underneath the truck mirrors. Truthfully I use the camera on the back of the camper along with these mirrors and get additional views from the Chevy cameras as well. I'm not a truck driver and only pull the camper on occasion so I need all the "eyes" I can get especially driving through Nashville and Atlanta.

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
Oh I like the mirrors, my only problem with them is that I wish either the hooks or the knobs were just a bit longer as they barely connect, but they do connect. Several years ago we ordered some mirrors for our van and they served us real well and I am sure these will as well. It isn't e-trailers fault, but the box arrived somewhat beat up. I have fitted the mirrors on our truck, but haven't had the chance to actually use them yet. 6 inches of rain has kinda kept us in the house.
One side does not stay adjusted and cannot see way to tighten. Was advertised as not blocking lights in mirror, not true as they are most certainly blocked.Otherwise good fitment and easy in install.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
The mirrors help me tow our Lance trailer safely. The adjustable mirrors benefited with a touch of dry lubricant on the joint inside the housing. Emily at etrailer was very helpful!
First set had a factory defect. The hole for the tension knob was not threaded. Replacement sent was also a defect, the mirror panel swivel was un-adjustable. Spend the extra money and get the correct OEM ones for your vehicle.

CIPA Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver Side and Passenger Side
I would like it to be extendable a bit further on the passenger side. The driver's side is fine though. The passenger side does not let one see far enough away from the side of the trailer. All in all, I like it better than drilling holes into the doors of my pickup to install huge mirrors. These look way better and are sufficient.
Proper fit, I have not trouble putting the mirrors on or off

Longview Custom Towing Mirrors - Slip On - Driver and Passenger Side
The mirrors were extremely easy and the fit is perfect. These look almost like a factory option installation. All lamp and cameras are exposed and not blocked. The individual mirrors are easily adjustable. Great product! Very pleased.
These mirrors helped tremendously when towing my Micro Minnie travel trailer versus stock mirrors on my GMC SIERRA 1500. The extended mirrors enabled to better determine when it was safe to move back into my lane after passing a vehicle and allowed me to see better the vehicles behind trailer. Although there was an occasional slight vibration in the passenger side mirror, it did not disrupt the usability of the mirrors. The towing mirrors took only a minute or two to install and fit perfectly on the stock mirrors. Adjusting them properly takes a little more time and is easier when a second person helps. I am extremely pleased with this purchase!

CIPA Custom Towing Mirror - Slip On - Driver Side
These trailering mirror extensions were purchased as a gift, however they fit perfectly on my dad's Ford F-350. Much cheaper than factory mirror extensions and perfect for his application.
This product came very quick. I like the way it slips on and locks in so easily. I will be towing a camper trailer to hopefully somewhat secluded camp sites. These extended mirrors are perfect for my needs. Looking around at what kind of extended mirrors work best, these are consistently rated very high. I would not have any problem ordering from these guys again

Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the K Source Universal Towing Mirror. Part number KS3891. Here I am at the back of my trailer, you can clearly see me, but if I step away, you lose track of me. That's why our towing mirror's going to go come into play and when we're going to have the most benefit. We're going to have a clear field of view, whether we're going down the highway and we need to change lanes or if we're backing our trailer up or even pulling up to the campgrounds. Our towing mirror's going to feature full adjustability. We're going to be able to adjust the angle up and down, as well as left and right and even there's a small set screw on the back of the mirror here, if we remove that, we can actually take the mirror, pull it out and we can put it in wide ways for a wide angle view. The way our mirror's going to attach is, we're going to have two arms, they're going to have small tabs that's going to fit in between our housing and our mirror itself and a couple straps on the back that's going to keep it secure.
2015 Hyundai Santa Fe CIPA Universal Towing Mirror: Complete Installation
Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be taking a look at and installing the CIPA Universal Towing Mirror, part number 7070. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me, but that's where our towing mirror is going to come into play and where we're going to get the most benefit. We're going to have a clear view whether we're driving on the highway and need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pulling up at the campground. Now, our towing mirror's going to have full adjustment. We're going to be able to adjust the mirror to just about any angle that we need and even turn the mirror sideways for more of a wide angle view. Now the way our mirror is going to attach is it's going to have some small tabs that are going fit in between our mirror and the housing and then a few straps to hold it on on the backside of our mirror. Now even though our mirror is going to attach to our factory mirror we're not going to lose any adjustment. We're still going to be able to adjust our factory mirror to the full extent and be able to get that safe, perfect angle when we're driving down the road.
How to Install the CIPA Universal Fit Dual-View Towing Mirror on a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe
Today on our 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe we're going to be taking look at and installing the CIPA Dual View Universal Towing Mirror, part number 11953. So here I am at the back of my trailer, and you can clearly see me in the factory mirror, but if I step away you lose track of me. But that's where our towing mirror comes into play, it's going to allow us to have a wide angled view and see around us, and it's going to benefit us whether we're driving down the highway and we need to change lanes, back our trailer up, or even pull up to the campgrounds. Now our towing mirror has two different mirrors on here. The large flat mirror is going to give us an accurate depiction of what's directly behind us, while the smaller mirror here on the side is going to be a convex mirror, and that's going to act more of a spot mirror. Now both mirrors do have full adjustment of up and down, left and right, that way we can get the perfect angle and safely get down the road. Now the way our mirror's going to attach, is it's going to have four small tabs. They're going to grip the housing of our mirror, and then a few straps are going to come up from the back side.
Installing the K-Source Universal Towing Mirror on your 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe
Today on our 2013 Honda Sante Fe, we're going to show you how to install the K-Source Universal Clip-On Towing Mirror. Part number is KS3891. Here's a good example of the field of view difference we can expect from the K-Source clip-on mirror. Currently, I'm standing right at the back corner of a 25 foot enclosed trailer. As I step out from there, you'll see about this area is where you're going to start to lose me in that factory mirror. You should pick me up in my tow mirror, so that's going to give us some extra about five large side steps over with still some room to go here. You can imagine as you're making that corner and that trailer's coming around you, you won't have to stretch around or try to look out your window and see exactly where that tire or where those axles are. Now our K-Source mirror is going to do an excellent job to expand our view as we're heading down the road.
What our customers are saying:
"These arrived yesterday and are EXACTLY what I was looking for. Thanks for the excellent service!"
