Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter - 12" to 16" Tall - 20,000 lbs
As with the 5th wheel hitch i ordered a year ago the box it was shipped in is it real bad shape I don't know if the hardware package is in the adaptor that I received on Monday im working long days right now and won't get a chance to look in what's left of the box till the weekend I will let you know if this one needs to be returned as the 5th wheel hitch was. Strike 2
The Product installed with no problem. I just got back from a 900 mi. round trip to Utah. I was in elevations from 1000 ft above sea level to 9000 ft. above sea level. I It hooks up very easy and is very good compared the my old system. I would have given it a Excellent except that it (rotated) turned about 1/4 of an inch.on the king pin as you can see on the Photos. I will be drilling holes in the King Pin Extension and putting in the four bolts before I take it out again. I was suprised that I did not receive the optional bolts nor was I asked if I wanted them. .I did order on line so I accept responsibility for it. At no time did I feel any safty issues. I had replaced the suspension on my trailer with the easy ride system and combined with your Convert-A-Ball Cushioned System my wife said there was a huge emprovement and I also felt a big difference it the Truck. It is a well engineered product and my raiting will go to Excellent after I put in the four Bolts. You can send me the bolts or I will get my own. Attached are some photos of my Truck and Trailer. The Trailer is a 2000 Forrest River Sierra Sport Toy Hauler. I bought it new. 9200 Dry. (2) 6500 lb Axels 1900 lb. on the Pin (est) If Questions, Feel free to call Have a Great Day JoeB

B&W Companion Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs
I decided to buy the Champion fifth wheel hitch to pull a fifth wheel camper, my 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 already had a B&W goose neck hitch in it. The champion hitch allowed me to also have a fifth wheel hitch with out drilling and mounting more weight to the truck. The instructions for assembly were clear and easy to follow making the assembly of the hitch easy. The hitch fit snug and there is no play in it. The 26' fifth wheel camper pulled nicely, no surging or swaying.
Make sure to have two people for installation. The only reason this is a must is due to the weight of the items and safety. The installation was not bad, the only item that is worth mentioning to watch for is near the end of the installation instructions. The jaws release lever has two bolts to hold it onto the receiver plate itself. The top is a rounded head with allen wrench style fittings. Unfortunately even though it seems like the allen wrench would hold the minute you put any torque on the nut it spins. I ended up replacing both immediately before fully tightening to ensure the handle was solid in place. As both bolts have no load or weight to them this was an easy decision to make. Everything you can tell is built solid and is pure steel, this thing should not go anywhere! Also to note I have my height adjustment for the plate at the highest setting and my tonneau cover still fully covers the truck bed without touching!

Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset - 12" to 16" Tall
I ordered a 5th wheel to gooseneck 7 1/2" offset adapter. I didn't receive it for 10 days due to weather delay. When I did receive it I've got 2 of the same item, The boxes were labeled incorrectly. Now I have to go through the problem of sending the extra one back and wait on the correct item to be delivered, I sure hope there are no weather delays, I need this SOON! Other than this issue I have always had good experiences with ordering through etrailer. I will also do a follow-up review when I receive the correct item.

Hi-Rise Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter by Bulldog, Draw-Tite and Reese
Well built. Easy to use. Handles my 33' Alpenlite with ease. Removes very quickly for use of the bed. Good instructions and assembles quickly.
Other than being heavy to set in the truck bed, the hitch is easy to install into a B&W gooseneck and it stayed well secured without any shifting of the base for a 400 mile round trip towing a10k lb trailer. The 4 degree side to side tilt does not seem necessary and it does make it difficult to properly torque the mounting nut. The side to side tilt also adds a good bit of weight.

Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches - 20,000 lbs
I love this hitch adapter. I mostly pull gooseneck trailer, but occasionally I need to pull a fifth wheel. Easy to get in and I haven't had any problems getting it back out when I was done with it.
The rails are well made. But on the heavy side I’m reluctant to pull it out. I would like them to stay put also, they tend to move around some with the B&W hitch.

B&W Companion Slider Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs
It looks good in the box cant install till the rest of my order arrive as stated in the first product review
I purchased the B&W 20K Companion Slider & Underbed Mount System (UMS) for my 2015 Ford F150 extended cab (with 6 foot bed) over a year ago because it was the only solution that was removable. Construction and finish was very nice and still looks great. Installation wasn't too difficult but the 4” hole in the bed needs to be exact otherwise getting it square will be very difficult. Overall the slider works great but must be mounted directly on the bed and cannot be mounted over a plastic bed liner. Once installed everything worked great however after numerous trips I've yet to need or use the slider backing up as I can turn 80+ degrees without ever hitting or coming close to the truck cab (towing 2018 Cougar Half Ton Series 5th wheel). Also the slider is very heavy (head 75 lbs + base 207 lbs = 282 lbs) to remove and install (takes two people or an overhead winch). Plus the overall hitch weight (head, base & UMS is 394 lbs) puts me very close to the GVWR once the truck & trailer is fully loaded hence in hindsight I probably should have gone with the fixed 5th wheel hitch (total just 318 lbs compared to 400 lbs) instead as it would have saved 81 lbs and costs $489 less but at least I have the option to slide it back if ever needed.

Ordered on Friday afternoon and received the following Tuesday. Very simple installation. No longer have to crank the gooseneck up or down to connect to truck. Very satisfied with this product and the price was very reasonable.

Ranch Hitch Universal 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Coupler Adapter w/8" Offset for Short-Bed Trucks
I have been using the Ranch Hitch #3100 Straight Adapter for 3 years. Converting the 5th wheel to goose neck was awesome. Much easier to hook up and a smoother, quieter pull. After purchasing a new trailer I noticed that the trailer was too close to the cab of my short bed truck. I found the Ranch Hitch #3139 with 8" offset adapter. It installs easy and gives me 8 more inches away from my truck cab. Excellent! Turning corners is much more comfortable!
After having this on my (small) 5th wheel travel trailer for more than 2 years, I have discovered the major problem with it... Because the hitch point is so much lower, it has created unusual leverage over the kingpin box and now my trailer frame is cracking :( Your trailer must be VERY shored up around the kingpin box to resist the extension of torque by essentially making your kingpin box much longer. I loved the idea of not having a 5th hitch in the box of my truck and the removable gooseneck ball instead, but I now know that a complete change-out of the kingpin box to a gooseneck hitch would have been more reliable. I am now in Mexico with a cracked trailer frame due to this :(

Demco 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Hitches
I like this adapter. It drops right in to where my turn over ball goes, secures just like the turn over ball with one added bolt for extra security, and the the hitch mounts to it. It is easily removed so that I can still quickly utilize a goose neck with my turn over ball. I rate this model a 4 star as it only works with 2 widths of hitches. My original hitch did not work but bought one that did. The 2 sizes are relatively common sizes. I recommend this for those that do not want to remove their turn over ball hitches and want a quick and easy way to move from 5th wheel to gooseneck connection.
Great customer service and quick delivery. Fits perfectly in my B&W turnover gooseneck hitch!

B&W Companion Flatbed Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs
I am very impressed with the quality of this BW 5th wheel hitch. I chose it because it what is recommended for use on my new flatbed for my truck. The flatbed is designed with this hitch in mind. It fits perfectly in the gooseneck well and is easy to install/remove. Just tighten/loosen the tension bolt and slide the locking pin to switch from gooseneck ball to 5th wheel. Going with this hitch and a flatbed makes trailering so much easier. No more step ladders, standing on running boards or tire to reach the hitch handle. Just reach over, grab the handle to open/close the jaws and set the safety pin. Highly recommend it.

Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter - Lippert 1621 and 0719 - 20,000 lbs
Overall a great upgrade, but not perfect. Happy to have gone this way from the previous 5th wheel hitch setup. Pros: * Having nothing in the bed of the truck, except when towing. * There is more room for a larger bed chest without the 5th wheel hitch (replaced a B&W Companion slider). * Air bag system seems less jarring on the frame of the 5th wheel than the B& W Companion / Lippert Rotaflex. * Seems to have reduced further what little "chucking" there was with the Companion/Rota-Flex setup. Cons: * Lining up to hitch is a PITA. Reese should really rethink this. * Towing is not as confidence inspiring. The trailer feels like it wallows in rough undulating turns in comparison to the 5th wheel connection. * Sits much lower than the 5th wheel pin box, so at level RV sites the bottom of the hitch is lower than the truck bed. That affects the length of RV site needed as the truck can't back under the trailer to park. * The pinbox structure requires more room in the bed, limiting what can be placed on the sides & rear of the bed. To help with hitching, I'm going to make a magnetic "sighting" system that can be seen through the rear window. something that can be tossed in the bed chest when not in use. Currently I'm using the bed camera (in the CHMSL) along with a camera that I set on the wheel well, and that is marginal at best. It still takes multiple attempts because of the limited tolerance. Once the bed chest is installed the camera will be pretty ineffective.
IF you have a gooseneck ball and a fifth wheel RV, then this is the perfect match for your rig! The Reese Goosebox changes everything! Easier hook up and unhooking. Smooth ride and easy installation. etrailer has plenty of videos for review and installation, plus you can call them and ask about it if you have any questions. I have had it for a year now and just installed it on its second camper and I would have it any other way! It is exactly what you need!

Ram Gooseneck to 5th Wheel Trailer Coupler Adapter Inner Tube - Square - 30,000 lbs
The goose neck to 5th wheel hitch is well made. The problem it solves for me is I do not have to change hitches on my truck for we pull a 5th wheel camper all so. I will be using it on a 20 foot flat bed trailer. Had a problem with the order called customer service and it was taken care of right a way.Very friendly people to deal with.
I bought this gooseneck to fifth wheel hitch to make easier hook up and not have to change hitch on truck. I have already installed it sure makes hooking trailer easier and pulling the trailer is more reactive than before. I am totally happy with the product.
